- No ads, ever
- Your domain stays yours
How it works
Five steps, most of them automatic.
These are the wizard’s real steps. The only thing you do outside SingleSign is add DNS records where you manage your domain.
- 1
Company
Name your company
Sign in with SingleSign and type your company or organization name. Your organization gets a free address right away — acme.singlesign.com, editable, checked as you type — so nobody has to wait for DNS. One identity can own several organizations, and a personal @singlesign.com address stays yours.
- 2
Domain
Connect your own domain (optional)
Optional — skip it and add it any time from the organization’s Domains section. Add one TXT record where you manage the domain’s DNS. We check for it on our own, the step moves on by itself the moment the record is found, and you can close the page — we email you when it’s verified. Most providers publish within minutes; DNS can take up to 72 hours.
- 3
Your address
Pick your company address
Choose the part before the @ on your free SingleSign address or a verified domain of your own. This creates your own company mailbox — its own inbox, storage and calendar, separate from any personal mail — and opens it right there.
- 4
Invite
Invite people
Each invite emails a join link. People sign in with SingleSign — no passwords to hand out — and you give them their company mailbox from the organization console once they are in. Skipping is always fine; you can invite anyone later.
- 5
Done
Open your inbox
Your organization is ready. The mail records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) come next in the Domains section of the console — we check them on our own and email you the moment mail is live.
Every detail, with the DNS records and registrar walkthroughs: Getting started.
What you get
Everything an organization needs, on by default.
No add-ons to find and no settings scavenger hunt: this is what every organization has from the first day.
Your domain
you@yourcompany.com on SingleSign Mail. Connect the domain with one TXT record; we verify it, check the mail records and prove mail flows end to end — emailing you at every step.
Company mailboxes
Every person gets a company mailbox of their own — inbox, storage and calendar — owned by the organization and kept beside any personal @singlesign.com mail.
The organization console
Members, pending invites, mailboxes, domains, admin roles, mail settings and the audit log on one page. Rename, invite, assign and suspend from there.
Admin roles
Delegate without handing over ownership: user management admin, help desk admin, domains admin and auditor. No role can ever read anyone’s mail.
Offboarding with transfer
Remove someone and their access ends in one step. Their company mailbox stays with the organization — held, forwarded, transferred to a colleague, or deleted with a 20-day restore window.
All inboxes
A person with several mailboxes — personal and company — reads them in one stream and switches accounts from the same menu, signing out of each on its own.
Screener trust between colleagues
Turn it on once and mail between people in the organization skips the Screener. Strangers still knock first. Everyone in the organization can see the setting.
Phones in a tap
Install the web app to the home screen, or connect Apple Mail, the Gmail app, Outlook or Thunderbird with a per-device app password you can revoke any time.
Deliverability & security
Your mail lands in inboxes — and nobody else’s hands.
The records receivers look for, checked for you; the encryption they expect; and a real test message before we call anything live.
Automatic verification and record checks
We look for your ownership record every few minutes, then keep checking the MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records — and tell you if one ever goes missing later.
SPF, DKIM and DMARC per domain
Every domain you add gets its own DKIM key and its own records, shown with copy buttons in the console. Receivers can trust what your organization sends.
TLS, MTA-STS and TLS-RPT
Every connection to our mail host is encrypted. singlesign.com publishes an MTA-STS policy and TLS-RPT reporting for that host — the one your domain’s MX points at.
The signed test message
Before we call your domain live, a signed message from postmaster@yourdomain makes the round trip through SingleSign. When it comes back verified, you get the “Mail is live” email.

Forwarders and parked domains
Role addresses like support@ and dmca@ that deliver to one or many people — company mailboxes, or an outside address that confirms first — and extra domains that mirror your main one. Set them up from the organization console in a minute.

Business FAQ
Questions businesses ask.
No. Your organization brings its own domain, and you pick you@yourcompany.com in the wizard. A personal @singlesign.com address is optional and stays yours, beside the company one.
Remove them from Members. Their sign-in to the organization ends and their company mailbox stays with the organization — held, with nothing bouncing. From the Mailboxes section you can forward it, transfer it to a colleague, or delete it; a deleted mailbox can be restored for 20 days. Their personal @singlesign.com mailbox is untouched.
Yes. Verifying ownership is one TXT record and changes nothing about your mail. Mail only moves to SingleSign when you change the MX record — do that when you are ready, and we email you the moment mail is live.
Most providers publish within minutes; a change can take up to 72 hours to spread. We check on our own and email you when the record is found — you can close the page. After three days we keep checking hourly and never give up on a domain.
Nobody. Admin roles grant administration only — no role can ever read anyone’s mail. There are no ads, so nothing is scanned to build a profile; remote images stay blocked until a person asks.
Your organization returns to the free tier. Mail keeps flowing and every mailbox stays; the free tier’s limits (25 members today) apply again to anything new. Billing has not opened yet, so right now every organization has everything in Business, free.
Yes — there is no domain limit. Each domain is verified on its own, needs its own MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, and gets its own DKIM key.
No. Everyone signs in with their SingleSign account; company mail rides the same login. Mail apps on phones and laptops use per-device app passwords that you or the person can revoke at any time.
